Quick start guide

The most important functions are described in the quick start guide.

Registration

polybox is available to all ETH and EMPA members. This includes students, staff, faculty, ETH-related, ETH guests, emeriti -> just login to polybox

Members of EMPA must first register on the SWITCHaai site.

Basic Functions

Synchronization

For synchronization, you need the polybox desktop client which is avaible for download on your personal settings page. It ensures automatically that all files stored on the polybox server are accessible via all devices running the polybox client.

Sharing

Files and folders can be shared via the web interface, the desktop client or an app. There are two sharing options: sharing with polybox users or sharing via link. You can find more information about sharing on Collaboration.
